DAY 01:Â A MAGICAL START: HARIDWAR TO SARI VILLAGE:
Embark on a mesmerizing journey from the spiritual hub of Haridwar to the enchanting landscapes of Chopta / Sari. To ensure an optimal experience, arrive at Haridwar station by 8 AM, marking the beginning of a day filled with scenic wonders. The 230 Km drive to Sari Village unfolds over approximately 7.5 hours, leading you through the charming towns of Rishikesh, Devprayag, Srinagar, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath. Each twist and turn of the journey reveals the diverse beauty of Uttarakhand. As you reach Sari, a haven surrounded by breathtaking views, the day offers the option to either rest or explore the campsite. It’s advisable to retire early, setting the stage for an early start to the next day’s adventures.
Devprayag: This is the sacred site where the rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda converge, blend into one another, and assume the name Ganga, creating a distinct pilgrimage destination.
Rudraprayag: Ranked fourth among the five confluences of the Alaknanda River (Panch Prayag), Rudraprayag marks the point where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers meet.

DAY 02: OMAKRESHWAR DARSHAN & TREK TO DEORIA TAL:
After breakfast, commence your trek to Deoria Tal, a stunning lake at an altitude of around 2,438 meters. The 1-2 hour / 3 Kms trek from Sari village winds through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, and coniferous trees, providing glimpses of the surrounding peaks. Later, trek down to Sari Village and proceed for Omkareshwar Temple Darshan. Enjoy the evening views of the majestic Himalayan peaks and the serene atmosphere of Chopta. Dinner and overnight stay in a Chopta hotel.
Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath : Serving as the winter abode of Kedarnath. It is also recognized as the primary seat of the “Panch Kedar.” This location is renowned as the “Karambhoomi” of Lord Kedarnath ji and the second Kedar, Shri Madmaheshwar ji.

DAY 03: EXPEDITION TO TUNGNATH & CHANDRASHILA:

This 5 Km trek, encompassing a 1.5 Km ascent, weaves through a well-paved cemented trail and challenges you with an unpaved, uneven path. The journey is both enjoyable and challenging, offering panoramic views as you reach the summit of Chandrashila. Capture the beauty in photographs, savor the serenity, and begin your descent towards Chopta through the same picturesque route.
Tungnath Temple: Tungnath Temple stands as one of the world’s loftiest Shiva temples and holds the distinction of being the highest among the five Panch Kedar shrines.
Chandrashila : Chandrashila, renowned as the spot where Lord Rama engaged in meditation following his triumph over Ravana, also carries another legend that links it to the moon-god “Chandra,” who purportedly practiced penance at this site. The name Chandrashila itself translates to “Moon Rock.” At the summit of Chandrashila, a temple venerating the goddess Ganga graces the landscape.

DAY 04: CHOPTA TO HARIDWAR – FAREWELL WITH CHERISHED MEMORIES :

The homeward-bound journey to Haridwar becomes a time of reflection, allowing you to relive the plethora of memories crafted during this remarkable tour. Upon reaching Haridwar, part ways with the trip’s reminiscences, knowing that the beauty of Chopta will linger in your heart for years to come.
